Day 1 – ARRIVAL AND WELCOME
Date: December 17th, 2023 Activities:- Arrival at Rock City from Kotoka International Airport / Accra.
- Rest day and meet-and-greet.
- Formal welcome note by The Diaspora Office at the Office of the President.
- Welcome note by Exodus to Africa.
Day 2 – AGRICULTURE AND AGRI-BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND POTENTIAL IN KWAHU
Date: December 18th, 2023 Activities:- Dialogue on Agriculture and Agri-business opportunities in Kwahu, hosted by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre.
- Dialogue on Kwahu Tourism Potentials, hosted by experts from The Ghana Tourism Authority.
- Official engagement with government agencies located at stands at the venue to answer questions and provide relevant resource materials on areas of interest.
Day 3 – SIGHTSEEING AT THE KWAHU AFRAM PLAINS ENCLAVE
Date: December 19th, 2023 Activities:- Visiting the two districts (Afram Plains South and Afram Plains North).
- Fun Day at Rock City Hotel and paragliding site (including swimming and poolside party).
- Special pool party reserved for clients at Rock City Hotel.
- Traditional dance choreography, traditional games, and sports competitions.
Day 4 – VISIT TO KWAHU SOUTH, KWAHU WEST, AND KWAHU EAST TOURIST SITES
Date: December 20th, 2023Day 5 – GRAND DURBAR OF CHIEFS
Date: December 21st, 2023 Activities:- Experience the rich culture of the Kwahu land as the Chiefs perform a traditional rite and celebrate the return of brothers and sisters from the Diaspora.
- Spectacular display of culture.
- Departure to Accra.
